It took Usha 6 days of skillfull craftsmanship to transform the Amla technique into Foli. Working with a thicket of strands, her deft fingers intricately interlace each one, resulting in a textural exterior shell. Being differently abled, Usha takes pride in being part of Knotto's journey to produce small-run products that prioritise the climate and environmental impact. 

The name "Foli," is short for Foliage," a shoutout to the green of the trees that glow fresh after a bout of rain in the monsoon months.

Designed with longevity in mind and crafted with recycled plastic, the basket aligns with both long-term sustainability and the ethos of slow fashion, ensuring a positive impact on the environment.
